Accessibility statement
This website is run by Portsmouth Safeguarding Children Partnership (PSCP). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
All our webpages can be translated into different languages by selecting the globe icon in the right-hand corner, underneath ‘Report a concern about a child.’
We are committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we are aware that it is currently only partially compliant. This is due to some of our older PDF and Word documents not being fully accessible to screen reader software.
We are working to update these but if there is one that you need one in a different format then please contact us at: PSCP@portsmouthcc.gov.uk
If you contact us with a complaint and you are not happy with our response, you should contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service who are responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018.
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you have any comments or suggestions then please do contact us.
